On the 3rd of November 2020, the SEAFOODTOMORROW team met online for the seventh consortium meeting hosted by the project coordination and management team IPMA and project partner EuroFIR. It has been a busy six months for the team and much of the development and analysis of the project’s solutions are now complete. Project partners presented an overview of all work carried out to date in the various work packages and showcased some of the results published in the project’s Special Issue in the Journal of Food and Chemical Toxicology.
The COVID-19 pandemic has unfortunately delayed the validation phase of the project, but the team is confident they will overcome these constraints and achieve their objectives during the six-month project extension granted by the European Commission.
The team is looking forward to the three demonstration workshops that will take place in early 2021 and, of course, the SEAFOODTOMORROW Final Event! You can read more about these events and other news in the latest SEAFOODTOMORROW e-newsletter.
