Jointly organised by the European Commission (Directorate General Research and Innovation) and the European Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform (EATiP), ‘EU EATIP Day: Low impact – High output: Promoting food security and new value chains in aquaculture’, took place on 9 October 2019 at Aquaculture Europe in Berlin. SEAFOODTOMORROW was invited to participate in discussions with other project leaders, research specialists and commercial players on critical knowledge gaps that remain unaddressed. A series of short presentations were followed by a panel discussion focusing on future collaborative actions in this field, supporting the ambition of European aquaculture to contribute to the global Zero Hunger vision.
